connections

If you happen to pass by, you may want to know what you will expect to be reading about. G-d forbid you don't want to fall on anything unsavory.

I was going to call it Heavenly Musings, if that gives you any indication!

I think about G-d, and His Running of His Show, a lot. I think about His involvement in my life, and the messages He sends me. I think about what He wants from me, and what I can do for Him. I think about the inherent wisdom in His creation, and I think about what this means for me, and how to connect to Hashem from this wisdom.

And to be able to connect to all of that, I connect to Rabbi Nachman of Breslev, and try to learn, and apply, his teachings to my life.

So there you have it.

A running commentary and anthology of spiritual sorts peppered with the ageless wisdom of the true tzaddik, Rabbi Nachman of Breslev.

what is emunumana?

Trying to decide on a name for this blog was almost as hard as designing my own business card. Almost. But then all of a sudden, it popped out! Just like that.

I wanted something catchy, that expressed emuna and somehow conveyed my connection to Rabbi Nachman of Breslev at the same time: hence the 'uman' in the middle of emuna.

emunumana.

e-m-u-n-u-m-a-n-a.

I like it.

welcome

Well, the moment that I said would never be, is.

I am starting a blog.

My husband has been telling me for ages I should start one. I said never. My friends and sister told me the same. I said never to them, too.

But then, I'm the queen of never say never, because a few years ago I said I'd never cover my hair. I said I'd never live in Jerusalem. I said I'd never, ever, let my husband grow a beard. And if I had thought my husband would have peyot one day, I don't what I would have said - but it sure wouldn't have been as polite as, "never"!

So welcome to this moment, since there will never be another one like it, really!
